IMDB 8.5/10 Letterboxd 4.4/5 笑到喷饭，将各类型作品中的套路解构了个遍。每句台词、每个镜头、每次剪辑都是精心设计的笑点。只是要领会到其中的许多笑点，需要对各类流行文化（尤其是7、80年代的恐怖片）有一定程度的了解，因此注定会是一部小众喜剧，难怪当初播了一季就被砍了，完全能想象当时一些观众对着电视挠头的情景。但从近几年一些类似风格的喜剧的成功便能得知，《Darkplace》对后来创作者的影响还是相当大的。距此剧首播已有21年，以现代的眼光看，更能感受到其在喜剧领域的超前，名副其实的邪典之作。
