In the run up to the festive season, Kitty becomes convinced that Santa has made an early stop at Button House when Mike and Alison discover a man living in a tent on their grounds. The ghosts' advice on how to deal with him leaves much to be desired, but eventually Mike and Alison learn that they have more to offer this Christmas than they realised.
虽然颇有种完成命题作文的感觉(从开头说Mike的家人今年不来过节就在为后面敞开空荡荡的古宅接纳流浪者做铺垫；闯入的流浪汉就那么刚好叫Nicholas；提供爱心圣诞午餐的旅社的烤箱恰好突然坏掉……)，但到结尾时看着“圣诞老人”窝在椅子里打盹，大家热热闹闹坐在一起玩问答游戏还是有被暖到。Kitty真是Button House的团宠哦，大家都在守护她对于圣诞老人的梦，就连老油条Julian都会说出“He always does. Merry Christmas.”这样温情的white lie。Fanny的生前经历给这个圣诞添上了悲伤的底色，有头脑有天赋的好姑娘生在那个年代对于中落的家庭最突出的价值依然是嫁人，看得我很难受

对比20年的圣诞特辑来说这一期明显要逊色了不少，圣诞氛围更低了，不过上一期在讲和家人的不完美，吵闹之下的爱；这一期更多地讲的是对于别人的包容和尊重。 “It‘s still the same girl underneath.” 好感人的一句话。
